The children made Autumn jelly, then we added water and froze some Autumnal objects to compare the similarities and differences.
We found out that the book we are reading this half term is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. There was a drama in the school kitchen and we had to go and investigate. The Bears had been cooking porridge in the kitchen and left the kitchen in a mess. We then got to try the porridge too.
We learnt about Diwali and made Diya lamps, as well as talking about Bonfire Night and going to watch Year 3 perform Goldilocks and the Three Bears to us. It’s been a busy first week back!
