Our Vision

At Norwich Road Academy, we believe in the power of education to change lives and open doors.  Our curriculum is aspirational.

We promote the benefits of hard work. Children are supported to be resilient, brave and proud, of who they are and where they come from.  We are a kind school, and this enables them to grow and to be successful.

Together, we build a love of learning and strong foundations for life.  We do this by providing enriching opportunities that prepare children well for the next steps that they will take beyond our school gates.

Our Values

Be Proud – Connect – Motivate – Empower – Aspire - Motivate

Our Values are very important to us and are woven through our curriculum. 

Each half term we will promote one of these across our academy community and children are taught what this means for them, in their school and their wider life. 

Through our Values, we aim to promote the skills and attributes of self-esteem, hard work, resilience, motivation, acceptance, adaptability and ambition.  We encourage children to be open minded and to consider their place in our community, and our wider society.

Our Values are shared and children’s engagement is celebrated in a weekly whole school assembly.  Staff will look for the values being demonstrated and award certificates to individual children.  We link this to our Superlearners approach.
